Biological Science I
General Description:
This is an introductory biology course designed for those interested in pursuing a career in life sciences. It will cover significant principles in biology from the chemical basis of life to the interactions of living organisms with one another and their environment. The course will focus on the basis of life and will explore different aspects of living beings, including the chemical building blocks of life, the biology of the cell (cell structure, organization, function, metabolism and interactions), reproduction and heredity, genetics and evolution.Evaluation:
Short one-minute questions 10%
In-Class Assignments, Group Discussions, Student Presentations 20%
Mid-Term 35%
