Overview
Description
This course covers set theory; symbolic logic; counting principles; permutations and
combinations; probability; statistics; geometry; applications and history of mathematics.
Course is not intended for students whose programs require precalculus or calculus courses.
This course is especially intended for students who will major in areas which do not require
further mathematics. We hope that your interest in mathematics will be stimulated in new
ways at the same time you are perfecting basic logical and mathematical skills. All of the
topics covered by this course will be of help on the CLAST.Assessment
