COURSE OBJECTIVE
Get an insight into the internals of modern operating systems.COURSE CONTENT
This course gives an introduction to the internals of operating system. The following topics are covered: operating systems architectures, processes, threads, synchronization, memory management, file systems, input/output, virtualization. The course uses real-world operating systems such as Linux and MINIX 3 as examples, providing insights into both the theory and practice of modern operating systems.TEACHING METHODS
