COURSE OBJECTIVE
ACADEMIC AND RESEARCH SKILLS – STUDENTS CAN CONDUCT A BASIC INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH PROJECT FROM START TO FINISH ACADEMIC SKILLS
After successfully completing this course, the student
• is able to recognize fundamental structures and to leave out irrelevant information (Abstraction) • is able to put forward well-founded, substantiated points of view based on empirical evidence (Argumentation)RESEARCH SKILLS
After successfully completing this course, the student
• is able to develop an academically relevant research question
• can find relevant literature for the purpose of developing hypotheses
• is able to develop and argue for hypothesis
• can design a survey and an interview outline
• can analyze both qualitative and quantitative data
• is able to translate research outcomes into practically relevant outcomesBRIDGING THEORY AND PRACTICE APPLICATION:
After successfully completing this course, the student

During Integrative Research Project, students will solve an issue for a (social) organization.
