Course description
This subject aims to place the participant in a holistic logistic context from an international perspective, allowing him to define, evaluate and formulate the processes of Transportation, International Physical Distribution, Documents, Cargoes, Incoterms, and International Logistics Supply Chain.
Justification
The phenomenon of globalization has increased the requirements of competitiveness, forcing companies to optimize the flow of their products and inputs. For this, the logistics are crucial as it links some of the most important tasks within the company. Studying Logistics is to look beyond the traditional and limiting conception of transport, leading us to understand it and approach it holistically in each of the areas of the organization, is to join an expand labor field that will demand professionals capable of implementing and managing the logical processes of international operations.General objective of the course
This course will be oriented to:
That the participants acquire the necessary skills, that is, the knowledge, skills and
attitudes that allow them to carry out a global management of all the processes that
integrate the logistics chain and that covers the activities of international raw
materials procurement. That is, to understand international logistics as a composite,
complex and integral system. In addition to recognizing the International Physical
Distribution as a generating function of Value in the Logistic Chain of the
