Overview
Human beings live in constant worry of acheiving a certain level of well being that brings us segurity and happinness, both individually and collectively. In addition to the contributions made by hard sciences in responding to these demands, discourses in human sciences, in particular practical philosophy developed through ethics, has questioned and worked on this problem as well, from a perspective of creating rational arguments that dignify human life. From this perspective, this course intends to create ethical guidelines related to philosophy and human rights. From this discussion will be debates of free development of personality, the right to life, environmental ethics, multiculturalism, the death penalty and other moral and ethical issues.
