2. Descripción de la asignatura.
This course presents a corporative management focus developed under the Purchasing & Supply management concept, intending to optimize purchasing/procurement/supply processes at a corporate level. The course will support the student with a combination of analysis skills, management tools and practical experiences which will allow him to identify the role of this specific management area within the overall strategic context and within the supply chain in particular.3. Justificación.
The last two decades have brought a series of changes in the way that businesses are conducted. The accelerated rate of change in markets, products, technology and the level of global competition have turned imperative the need to reduce cost, fulfill the customers’ high expectations in quality and address the corporate/market demand for product availability with less available inventory at the lowest transactional cost.
