    Curso teórico-práctico dedicado al análisis del material óseo humano procedente de yacimientos arqueológicos. Los principales temas tratados en este curso incluyen estudios de osteología humana, guías para la medición y análisis morfológico de huesos, determinación de sexo, estimación de edad, detección e identificación de patologías comunes en muestras arqueológicas de material óseo humano, e información sobre reconstrucción de dieta a partir de análisis químicos de huesos y alteraciones dentales. El curso incluye también una revisión de estudios sobre mortalidad y población prehispánica en la cultura andina, e información práctica sobre tratamiento y conservación de restos humanos extraídos de excavaciones.
