Overview
El objetivo del curso es ofrecer una visión panorámica de la historia occidental desde la Antigüedad hasta la formación del mundo moderno en los siglos XV y XVI, con la finalidad de reconocer los diversos aportes de la historia antigua y medieval a la cultura universal. El curso se centrará en los temas que permitan una mejor comprensión de la evolución de la historia mundial, como los orígenes de la civilización, la formación de la democracia en Grecia, la expansión y decadencia del imperio romano, las bases de la Europa medieval y la génesis del mundo moderno.
