El curso abarcará el estudio del siglo XIX peruano desde los antecedentes doctrinarios de las guerras de la independencia hasta las vísperas de la guerra con Chile. El enfoque será cronológico y temático con énfasis en algunos aspectos que marcaron el desarrollo del país en el siglo XIX.
