  • Overview

The course "Social Management" is part of the mandatory course package that introduces each of the three specializations. This is because the FGAD's professional training approach conceives that success in managing any type of organization depends on recognizing and interacting with others, due to their de facto interdependence and the benefits of the synergies established between the public sector, the business sector, and civil society. Indeed, they are not isolated realities or independent "sectors." This course focuses on social management and its implementation in various types of private or public organizations. Its purpose is to introduce students to the understanding of managing organizations and interventions that create social value. Therefore, as an introductory course, it will review, through theory and cases, the main concepts, strategies, and tools applied to the management of different types of organizations and interventions that seek to respond to social needs and problems in a broad sense.
