  • Overview

    It is a theoretical-practical course to be developed as an integrative mining course which purpose is to make the students to work in teams by means of developing a mining engineering project during the whole semester. This project will focus on fulfill a user need, it involves the definitions of requirement, search for solutions, planning and execution of activities, evaluation of technical and economic alternatives. The project involves at least three areas of Mining Engineering with real constraints and use of engineering standards. Finally, it also includes the preparation of a progress of the project and deliver a final presentation in English.
