Overview
Summary
The subject will comprehend several American authors from the 19th through the 21st century of different genres and styles. From Edgar Alan Poe in the 1840’s and the First Modernism initiated by Walt Whitman, through Women and black writers in the convulsive post bellum era. We will encompass as well a play by Tennessee Williams and a song by Bob Dylan, whose Literature Nobel Prize award stirred some controversy. Dirty Realism and Science fiction will not be left aside.
