Shanghai is China's largest city and financial capital. The city is one of contrast- you will find old temples scattered throughout the endless skyscrapers, inexpensive markets standing next to state-of-the-art shopping malls, and restaurants serving international cuisine sharing walls with local food spots. It is truly astounding how Shanghai can feel both cosmopolitan and fast-paced, as well as ancient and peaceful.
