Academic Year

Semester + Semester options are available for certain programs in this city. In these instances, students will receive a discount off of the second term. ISA support services, housing and insurance are not included during the interim period between sessions but may be added for an additional charge.

Semester / Trimester

The ISA semester programs in Shanghai offers an array of courses taught in English, as well as Chinese language courses.

The Students participating in the Business, Chinese Studies & Language program in Shanghai will be able to take a diverse set of courses taught in English. Courses that are offered may cover subjects such as Business, Political Science, Economics, and History.

Students participating in the Intensive Chinese Language program at East China Normal University will take a full course load of Mandarin language classes, which will including speaking, reading, writing, and listening components.

Summer

During the summer, students can study Chinese Language at East China Normal University. Students participating in the program can take a full course load of Mandarin language classes which will including speaking, reading, writing, and listening components.

Back To Back

This back-to-back program offers students the unique opportunity to discover Shanghai and improve their Chinese language skills for 8-weeks, giving them a chance to truly immerse themselves in Chinese culture for the summer.

<box>Students participating in the back-to-back Intensive Chinese Language summer program at East China Normal University will enroll in two 4-week summer sessions for 8-weeks of Chinese language learning. Students will take a full course load of Mandarin language courses which will including speaking, reading, writing, and listening components. Please note that the Beginning level of Chinese language course is not available; students can take courses from High Beginning level to High Intermediate level. A placement exam will be given by the Final Forms and Payment deadline.</box>
