Housing Information

Housing is provided on all ISA programs in the Pacific region, at an additional cost.

A Housing Commitment Fee of $1,000 must be paid by the Final Forms and Payment due date. This fee is nonrefundable after the payment due date and is applied to overall housing costs. The total housing cost will be billed once a housing assignment has been allocated, typically around the Final Forms & Payment deadline

ISA Housing provides the opportunity for students to experience aspects of the Fiji lifestyle that are inaccessible to the average visitor of Fiji. All ISA Housing options are either within walking distance or conveniently located to public transit routes. Travel times to the various university buildings generally range between five and ten minutes depending on class locations.

Student Apartments and Flats
ISA students studying at the University of the South Pacific have the opportunity to live in on-campus apartments or houses which are maintained by the university. Students will live with other ISA students in single gendered, air-conditioned units with two to four single-occupancy bedrooms, common living spaces, kitchens, and shared bathrooms. Linens and towels are included, and laundry facilities are available on-site. All units have WiFi, though the internet can be somewhat unreliable.

The experience of living in another culture will be both educational and rewarding so long as you stay open-minded and reasonable at all times. There are differences in culture and lifestyle between life in Fiji and the U.S. Remember: the key to a positive experience is flexibility.
