Japanese Language & East Asia Studies -Musashi University

Students will enroll at Musashi University where they have the opportunity to study Japanese language as well as take courses in English with international and local students.

Eligibility

Minimum GPA

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.75.

Minimum Admissions Prerequisites

There is no language prerequisite for this program.

Students must have at least sophomore standing (second year) at their home university at the time of participation.

Students must also include the following iteams along with their standard ISA application:

  • One color passport copy
  • One Letter of Recommendation
  • Program Supplemental Admission Form
  • Study Plan
  • Japanese Skill Level Assessment
  • Confirmation of Enrollment at home university

  • Financial Proof of a minimum of¥100,000 JPY/month (approximately $4,000 USD for the semester), proof of medical clearance by a practicing physician to participate in study abroad program

  • Five (5) photos (Japanese Alien Registration Card size 4cm x 3cm)

Students will receive these documents and information after submitting their standard ISA application to the Tokyo semester program.
