South African Society and Politics -University of Cape Town

ISA has teamed up with the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and the University of Cape Town to offer students courses primarily focused on the political and socioeconomic history of South Africa. Courses will be taught by faculty from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and the University of Cape Town.

Students participating in Session 1 of the program must also participate in the mandatory Intersession, where students will travel the infamous Garden Route in South Africa's Eastern Cape. There is also the option of participating in both Session 1 and Session 2 back to back. For more information about this option, please contact your Cape Town Site Specialist.

Eligibility

Minimum GPA

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.

Minimum Admissions Prerequisites

There is no language prerequisite for this program.
