Summer

Korean Language & Courses in English -Hanyang University

The Hanyang University Summer program provides an excellent opportunity for students to not only learn about Korean culture and language, but also expand their academic plan by taking two courses from a wide range of subjects:

  • Art & Design,
  • Business & Economics,
  • Communication & Media,
  • International Relations,
  • Engineering,
  • Science & Math and more.
Each class offers a full semester of coursework condensed into four weeks of intensive study totaling 48 contact hours. ISA recommends that students take two courses while abroad, but students may take a third course for no additional charge.

Eligibility

Minimum GPA

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.

Minimum Admissions Prerequisites

There is no language prerequisite for this program.

Credits earned vary according to the policies of the students' home institutions. According to ISA policy and possible visa requirements, students must maintain full-time enrollment status, as determined by their home institutions, for the duration of the program.

Availability of courses is based on enrollment numbers. All students should seek pre-approval for alternate courses in the event of last minute class cancellations

Please note that some courses with locals have recommended prerequisite courses. It is the student's responsibility to consult any recommended prerequisites prior to enrolling in their course.
