Designed for students who possess an advanced level of Spanish and wish to deepen their comprehension of the language, this program offers an array of classes in Business, International Relations, Spanish, and other liberal arts topics, with the majority conducted in Spanish.

In addition to taking classes taught in English or Spanish during the semester, this program includes a two-week intensive Spanish language course consisting of 45 hours of advanced-level language instruction taught at the Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo prior to the start of the semester.

All classes are with American and other international students, and courses are taught by host university faculty.

PLEASE NOTE: the Advanced Grammar I course is only available during the two-week intensive language course, taught prior to the start of the semester at the Universidad de Sevilla. Students will receive a separate transcript for this course from the Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo.

Students who have completed the following number of semesters/quarters of college-level Spanish or the equivalent should register for courses in the corresponding level:

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.

Minimum Admissions Prerequisites

For advanced level Spanish speakers only. Students must have completed at least 4 semesters, 6 quarters, or the equivalent of college-level Spanish.
