Course Level Recommendations

  • ISA offers course level recommendations for the courses listed below. Please note that the course level recommendations are based on the University of Belgrano course code system.
  • Each code starts with four letters that denote the program to which the course pertains:
    • PEAL (Programa de Estudios Argentinos y Latinoamericanos)
    • PALAS (Program in Argentine and Latin American Studies).
  • The remainder of the course code is made up of three numbers. Courses coded 100-200 were designed as lower division undergraduate courses, and courses coded 300-400 were designed as upper division undergraduate courses. These ISA course level recommendations are intended to facilitate the determination of course equivalencies by advisors and credential evaluators at participants' U.S. home institutions.
